Fuel Tank hole

My fuel tank has corroded near to the strap on the drivers side.

 

What are my options in terms of repair / replacement? I've heard of chemical bonding reapir stuff but not sure of it's success rate + if one bit is corroded surely another bit will follow soon?

 

How much is a new tank?

    Right,Iused this on my supra tank-got very small pinholes around the base of the filler neck,bought some POR 15 tank sealer,and also POR15 rust encapsulater paint.You pour in the whole tin of sealer,spin the tank every which way to spread it about,then pour out the excess.Wait 92 hours[iIRC]

    and your done!-Bud this stuff does work! ;)

    I then painted the whole tank in the encapsulater paint and it looked excellent!HTH!

     

     

    P.S. prob got the excess left in the tin[if it aint gone off]your more than welcome to it matey!
