Has anyone thought about supercharging a non turbo. Any case studies or examples out there?

There are a couple of internet sites and people selling information on ebay to build your own. Just wandered if anyone had thought about a conversion or tried and tested....or will i be the first/last :smw:

Search for a thread by a guy called burf2000 on the topic, it is informative and funny as fook :D

EDIT: Here you go

Brilliant! :D I am slightly embarrassed though. :x:

Looks like he was persuaded against it, not for the want of trying. Funny, helives not far from me, i'll have a look for a Z with Dyson decals on the

side!

I am thinking Nos too.Or might just advance the timign first. My Z's had quite a lot done to it already. Denso's, SS all the way thru, 'special 'ECU, TRUST intake, APEXI SAFC, lightened Crank pulley, 17" rims, mixed body kit ( cool mirrors which i haven't seen before), lowered, think that's it...

I reckon it runs as quick as a standard TT auto....wouldn't mind testing that theory actually.

Think i bought one of your grounding kits on ebay actually!! ( still haven't fitted it!!!!)

Next step is a lightened flywheel when i get the clutch done- not for a wile i hope. Then it's either a TT conversion (ouch!) or Nos and a supercharger. Maybe even a dual filter input. I've got a APEXI SAFC attached which will allow this - reckon there'll be any probs with this?? I have seen some notes about it only being recommeded for high power (400bhp) vehicles.
