I was thinking in the winter of ditching the rear seats and using the panels out of a swb in place of the seat to free up some space for more subs + id like to get the targas in there to. Does anyone no if the parts from a 2seater would fit? and if anyone has these parts forsale?

? the swb doesnt have any pannels in the back just a partioned bit that goes to the boot?

 

I guess you could rip ya seats out and pannel it in to extend the boot ?

Behind the seats in an SWB are panels that cover the wheel arches quite high up, and a kind of fabric covered metal frame which is a luggage/briefcase holder thingy. The boot behind that is a lot deeper than a 2+2, and I presume not as deep front to back. I doubt they would fit very well or at all. I think it would probably be a custom job to fit anything with the back seats out. Hasn't someone on here had good fibreglass sub boxes made to fit the back seat space?

I reckon it mite have to be a custom build then bud. i cant see why it wudnt fit just wondering if anyone has done it. thanks for the help

The boot on a SWB is different to LWB, Sgt C and I are in the middle of doing a build in his boot, the panels will definatly not fit a LWB.

This is ture...... :D i need to replace a few bits but nothing fits from 2+2 to SWB and vice versa :cry: :cry:
