As I am now basically resident in Camborne at preent, although occasionally going back to Bristol some W/E.

 

I was wondering how many Zeds are in the area and if it was worth having a MEET before weather breaks again.

 

Anyone intersested????? or indeed is thereanybody down here with a zed!

 

Having said that there is another red one, I have seen it in the Halfords cp and on the road around Camborne. So I am not alone!

Mine is not the blue one - but I have seen that one around also. I own a red N/A (almost standard) private plate XRX62. There is also another guy in the Newquay area who gave me his telephone number when I met him in a car park (about a month ago) but unfortunately I lost it. That makes four of us in a 25 mile radius.

 

Being in the Navy I do travel through four lanes. That said, I always keep the windows closed and lock the doors. A good cornishman knows that Four Lanes is bandit country

 

My car is U/S at the moment. I am hoping it is just the PTU that is on the way out. A new one (series 2 replacement from the Z centre) should be arriving Friday. Using my bike to go to and from Plymouth at the moment - its bloody cold and it ain't much fun. Fair wether biker I'm afraid. You can get me on 01209 821473. have no idea where the pandora inn is. Marazion gets my vote but it would living 3 miles away.

Marazion has a far bit of parking overlooking the sea etc. a few pubs, and should fairly accessable this time of year. and would attract some interset! from other visitors.

 

Pandorra inn, is a nice pub by the the river, car park can get busy, but a great location. see http://www.pandorainn.com/directions.php

Any location is fine by me. If there is any interest from just the other side of the Tamar Bridge we could always arrange to meet at somewhere like the Half Way House in the Glyn Valley or perhaps the Jamaica Inn. Victoria Inn just after the Goss Moor is another good location. All of these have good car parks where the cars are not going to get bashed by some Skoda driver. That said, you started this one Ray so I will follow your lead.

Sorry about delay in responding to meet suggestions, but been V.busy and moved again back into Camborne!!! only temporary.

 

Then Car decided to Fail its MOT, Power steering sprung a leak.

 

So off road at the moment getting new brake discs etc.,

 

Should be back on the road again just this side of Xmas, so suggst we leave until new year!

Still having car probs, Brakes not sorted yet, cant get replacement discs, ordered Black Diamond from Outlander Products, but did not fit, waiting to see what can be done. May need to fit TT discs and Calipers!

Power steering packed up completely now!!!??

Will book into Powells in pool when I know Ive got Discs.

I didn't thank that the TT and NA would use different discs but sounds like you are having a bit of a mare. Good luck.

PS. If your insurance is due try Houghtons. It has just cost me £260 fully comp. Agreed value but limited to 5000 miles per year. Bloody bargain.

i had similar problems with my 91 n/a too .in the end went thorugh a 300zx trader on the site for mine. tried lots manufacturers with no luck had about 5 through the post i had to send back. even after giving the exact dimensions they still get it wrong.

How about Perranporth - Main car park? good pub on the beach or as I suggested earlier Pandorra Inn.

After zooming thorugh MOT without touching the sides my old zed is ready to mingle with others of its species

 

Either place i good for me, Perranporth easier to get too than the pandora..

I used to love surfing down at Perranporth, Portreath and Porthtowan about 10 yrs ago....

Perranport or Pandoras - it doesnt worry me as both are pretty close to my house. 13th is fine, just let me know where we have decided.
