New stereo

Finally finished fitting my new stereo and must say i'm as pleased as a dog with two dicks. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif Got 6" component infinity perfect series in the front, 6" component infinity kapa series in the rear and a nice 6 channel amp to run this little lot and the 12" sub in the boot.

Most pleased although it was a real pain to do.

When is the next meet up. Havn't seen many Z's recently.

Nice one Tim(am I talking to myself again...pills haven't kicked in yet! LOL) so now that you're experienced in the art of fitting pukka soundZ into a Z beast! You can come round and sort out me Sony head unit, Rockford "Files" Fosgates and me Vibe bass mother! biggrin.gif

Would love to help m8 but not sure I can put the 40 hours work in it took me. Infinity say I've got to 'run the speakers in' for - get this 300 hours!!!!!!!! Looks like I'm going to have to do alot of driving biggrin.gif Never mind just wish it was the summer.

why would a dog with two dicks be as pleased as you?

Tim, Did you manage to fit the 6" rears in the top of the pods that are already there ? Is there enough air in there to let them do their stuff ?

Had to take all the existing shitty BOSE gear out but they fit nicely and seem to do the business. Only problem now is I don't think my Kenwood 12" can take the power the new amp kicks out. Can't seem to handle puncky base. May have to drop down to 2 x 10" Infinities. What do you guyZ think. Bloody pleased with the front tweater mounts. Will post some pictures soon to see what you lot recon.
