For anyone who is slightly interested ..... ;) ......

I'm no longer having the used OEM spoiler fitted to my boot lid. This is due to not being able to have all the ripples flattened :(

So instead I'm having the holes filled and a perspex panel, with brake light, fitted :D courtesy of Luke at the ZCentre

Having found out that to have a replica spoiler fitted is quite a lot of work, and having been running around without a spoiler for a while now, I quite like the idea of not having one at all.

So the car will go into the bodyshop next week, and a trip over to Lukes as well to pick the panel up.................... Then by the end of the week, it'll look all nice and shiney again :D

:duffer: to Luke, what a bloke, very helpfull.

I am seriously thinking the smooth no spoiler way. But I have been for the best part of a year and not done anything about it! I think it will look excellent. And you did it yourself so far didn't you?

So a replica spoiler doesn't just have holes in the same places?

Nope, according to Luke, it only bonds onto the boot lid, so that put me off, with the added extra cost of the bodyshop having to fit it :( If it fitted the same as the OEM one, then I would have had it, but not this way.

Photo's will be posted when it is all done :D

GO ON!-you know yer wanna!! ;)

fu** it im going smooth next week i think! hope it looks good  :)

after holding out for a spoiler i really wanted i got one off fas, but have now decided to go smooth as well, after all spoilerless is the way the designers originally intended the car to look

so i have a greddy rear spoiler up for grabs that does require painting and a small amouth of prep work

Any pics mate??

hiya this is what it looked like on fas's car

its basically in same same condition as i received it from fas there is a slight hairline stress crack in the coating that requires a minimal amount of filler work, but it just needs a scotch off priming then painting to be finished

Could be tempted by the spoiler mate if mantav8 doesn't want it.

Would it fit the tailgate on a SWB???

What sort of price region ???

No spoiler defo way forward, I originaly blended all the gaps and holes that were there but it looked to girly, the tailgate skin made a hell of a diff
