I'd like to thank the Scottish Police for introducing me to a toally new experience, being glad they did their job. Please see here.

"He was banned in 1998 after he was clocked at 111mph on the M40 in a Ferrari F40.

Kay claimed he was racing home to stop a crazed fan burning down his mansion. "

Racing home because he found out Stevie Wonder was still alive more like!!! :xxx:

How is that Justice? If it was me on a bike I'd be facing a jail sentence! £750 fine, WOW!

LOL he needs his license to get away from the public. Well, who the **** has given him all his money in the first place ffs!!!! Thanks for all your money, now **** off.... hmmmmm

Kinda think its odd just because he has cash and nice cars your happy to see him banned, yet if it was one of us here you'd be saying unlucky mate.

If you were on your bike, you could go speeding through Truvelo Cameras at 100 Mph and not get caught!!!

Nope, not me. If you speed and get caught you take yer medicine.

I'm glad Mr Kay got caught, bec (imho) he's a :xxx:, and I speak from experience as I had to spend an uncomfortable hour in his company once, as well as having to endure his dreadful Stevie Wonder retread musical ditties....

i saws JK on TV once, harrasing some poor photographer and blaming him for kicking his car (a Bently of something).

The poor guy hadn't done anything wrong but JK followed him round with his entourage for ages untill all of a sudden, this photographer (who looked like a small, inoffensive chap) nutted him and down JK went.

PMSL!

Yep! The guys an arsehole. I've had the pleasure of meeting the twat!

never thought of that!! All the forward facing cameras, road safety vans etc are useless for catching bikes!!!

If I didnt think I'd kill myself in a week I'd book myself on a course today!!!!

Alot of bikers just speed through flicking the 'V'.

I can't cos I'm famous tho so I just cover my face.

pffft a jail term for 104? bit harsh BR :)

I got banned for 7 days & £280 fine for 105mph in me s14a on the M5

(and that was braking after spotting the plod wi the laser gun) The police ocifur actually gave me a good report, saying my driving was incontrol and not being aggressive towards other drivers & said the average speed of the flow was 85-90mph.

When the magistrate asked for a reason I gave 'no reason ma'am. I was driving at 105 completely aware of what speed I was doing, in control and in no rush or hurry for any reason whatsoever' she said, 'I appreciate your honesty, not something you get a lot of here' and gave me the ban etc..

JK is a terwat tho' so a big Nelson Munce HA-HA!

LOL, yeah Craig I saw that incident you're on about where JK was giving it the biggun to that reporter and he got a right could head butt! Twas quality. JK you :xxx:

It was brilliant. he was really showing off and being a right ****. He just harranged the poor little photographer-bloke for ages and was saying so many pretentious things.

The photographer just kept backing off and appologising...until suddenly BANG-headbutt and down went JK even with all his enormous bouncers around him.

:hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Wouldnt it be nice if ppl were judged by their standard of driving and not their speed alone. A ton is fook all in the right place and we all know it. PhilD, take it you'd be ok with losing your licence then?

problem is is, a ton in a Ford Ka is a very different experience to a ton in a Z, but try telling that to some fekn woman magistrate who rarely goes over 40 in her nissan micra .... :( My reactions at 120mph are far superior to some dithering old fool in a skoda at 70mph, & I bet you my stopping distance would be less

Plus the Z is designed to be driven at that sort of speed, where as the ford Ka, Nissan Micra, is designed to be driven by women, or dodgey old fool's wearing flat caps!!

Yes, that's baseball caps, and flat cap driver's I hate!!!

You break the law you pay the penalty, unless you can get out of it!:D. It doesnt matter what car your driving.

Should this also read

"The Krays were wonderful people, they only murdered their own!" Same sort of logic, it's ok to break the law at certain times.

As for losing my license, if that is the punishment, then yes. "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime!"

I recently got 3 points for 45 in a 30 by a Front Facing camera. Had the Mrs taken me to the station on her bike, I'd be ok but I drove. Took advice and was told the camera is legal. End of story, pay my fine and take my points.

Only 111 in an F40?

Wuss. :D

It is deeply worrying when someone's chasing you or trying to stop you getting past and their outside the capabilities of the car or driver...

Example yesterday, someone in a Clio (NOT A Cup I hasten to add) trying to follow me up a twisty road. After watching the car leaning on the stops and the lines he was taking I slowed down just so he wouldn't kill himself! He passed me after a bit with the most appalling overtaking maneouvre I have ever seen, having missed several previous perfectly safe opportunities.

PhilD: If you're trolling and trying to get us to agree 100+ in a Fezza on the M40 is inherently dangerous, please go back to your pipe and slippers now.

(I am assuming this is not through heavy traffic.)

OTOH don't assume good track drivers are good road drivers - a mate in the office races at weekends and does pretty well - but having been through a busy Manchester in his car I ain't asking for another lift.

Here we go again, nannys comparing speeding fines to murder!!

And thats exactly the attitude that lets the safety camera partnerships flourish, you roll over and cough up , they just love that easy money!!

Some would say 45 in a 30 is more dangerous than a ton on the motorway.

You get 3 points whereas the ton gets him banned, sums up the logic in the system, there isnt any.

Agreed 110%!!!! Its this stupid theory that "speed kills". 100 is the magical figure where if you exceed it you're bound to die  I'm well and truly dead then :D 45 in a 30 is inappropriate use of speed. 104 on a road designed for higher speeds with better visibility and more than likely a far superior road surface, chances are its pretty much safe...

check this one:

i got clocked doing 110mph in my honda accord on the M1, got a 3 month ban and £150 fine and no points on my license. all down to talking alot of S**t. i admit it guys i broke a record...for which i had to do 80 hours community service.

thank god thats over :)

-T-

for which i got cought driving the same day i got banned.

Not that you're doing a ton when the clock says you are anyway... unless you have a Knight Rider ™ digital speedo like wot I do now. :D

The 7 boys were a bit nervous about me leading the convoy cos I was cruising at 95 - they both thought we were doing a license-losing 105.
