From all the doom & gloom of most of the threads here

ie: Blown tubs, g'boxes, electric probs etc....

Seeing as its such a nice evening...took the t-tops off,

windows down, stereo blaring (chav ;) ).

£20 of optimax....done about 50-60 miles..just cruising,

lovin' every minute of it, pillar gauges glowing blue in

the dark, racing cars whizzing round my head unit!

Scaring pensioners & children with the bov's :x:

There just is no better feeling than cruising at 80-90

roof off, windows down. She never missed a beat...once!

Just a reminder to all, about how good z's really are.

Despite all their faults/problems...could never sell her...ever!

Anyone else been for a relaxing blast today?

yep had a nice day out in the z but its never relaxing with the way i drive

but the point is there is nothing better

dusted the old beast off, it hasnt moved for about 4 months, due to the heater matrix busting, i finally got round to bypassing it, fixing the brake lights, so i topped up the power steering fluid, checked the oil, jump started it and it fired up, did not sound too clever but after a couple of minutres it was sounding smooth as a freshly waxed peach, and went for a major blast, forgot how much attention the car draws compared to the s14a, people turn round on the high street to see whats coming, that big burbly v6 and the turbos spooling up is just the nads. really must get round to sorting the paint job out

yeah i was there too yesterday bud - flying through the countryside with the targas off and the sun beating down etc. dumping the bovs every time i passed an mr2 or fto ;) also scared half of oakham as i drove through the centre of town.

like you say bob its days like this that make the whole lot worth it!!!

Does anyone else go under bridges, boot it, ease off to hear the dump valves and then grin like a cheshire cat??

i was coming home from Hastings yesterday and joined the A27 by Lewes...nice section of dual carriage all the way to Worthing...with a group of speed freaks all together there was 6 of us trying to outgun each other for around 10-12 miles

My stock 300

AC Cobra...not a kit but the real mcoy!

New Crossfire

XJR

XKR

Audi TT

Made quite a nice end to the day as after the Cobra peeled off i got the better of the Jags, the Audi and Crossfire weren't even close...the cobra made some serious noise...even at +100 with my lids off and the wind screaming he was roaring over the top of that...at one point he did a huge flame almost singed the badge on my bonnet...in return my tubs were whistling like a thousand kettles..:)
