Ive just brought a manual box, im gona put an RPS max series clutch in but im wondering if i should put a lightened flywheel and a ligthened pulley both by RPS, will these help and increase bhp like it claims?

Definitely! If you do a search of the forums you'll see the benefit of fitting the lightened flywheel etc. It soaks up a fair bit of power in it's current guise so you'll see a huge improvement when it's completed. :smw:

iv got both a lightened flywheel & lightweight pulley on mine - nice upgrades :)

The RPS flywheel is also a work of art :) Almost a shame to hide it :(

does it not effect the tourque though , and make stirring the gearbox a necessesity ( in a manual of course )

anything that increases bhp MUST increase torque as there is a direct relationship between the 2.

 

stirring the gearbox? i actually found the gearshifts nicer after fitting these

 

& (in a manual of course) - you cant fit a lightened f/w in an auto!! :p

LOL cos auto's don't have flywheels before anyone asks :rolleyes: ;)

I have an AASCO flywheel

11lbs and it makes a large difference, car feels a lot smoother also for some reason.
