The fuse that services the interior lights, central locking etc keeps blowing. Any ideas people?

I have checked everything on this circuit and all is ok. I stick a fuse in and it blows???? I have even bridged the fuse with thin cable and nothing is burning up.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because you don't know why the fuse is blowing, is a very good reason NOT to do this, as it could do more damage!!

Bottom left corner, is the one it is (but then you'll know that, has it keeps blowing ;) ) and 10amp is what it should be.

First, check out your interior lamps, one could be shorting, hence the blowing of bulbs. Remove the bulbs, and then insert a new fuse, if you have a amp/volt meter use this instead, on the amp setting. See what happends to the fuse, it it blows or the meter is showing high current draw, then the fault is within the central locking area, and you'll have to investigate further with the meter. If this is all OK, then insert a known good bulb, if your using the meter, then it shouldn't be drawing much current (not sure what it should draw) or if the fuse stays OK, then you've found the problem, dodgy bulb.

Give this a try first, post back if you still have probs.

Thanks dave, tried it with the bulbs out and the fuse didnt blow until I locked the central locking. However put the bulbs in and dont touch the doors and it blows. Im lost.
