Guest Rich Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 As if not passing the MOT for faulty lights wasn't bad enough, now I have a mojor clutch problem- if anyone could help it would be very much appreciated. Would have to be the first day back to work after my holidays. I noticed yesterday the first half of the clutch pedal was a bit loose or 'squishy', then this morning it started to get difficult to put into gear, then about ten miles down the road it was almost impossible to put into gear. I managed to limp back just getting it into second or third. After I stopped I couldn't get it into gear at all. Is this possibly something to do with the master cylinder, or the clutch needing bled, or something more serious wrong with the gearbox or clutch? Any advice would be very gratefully recieved as I have just had to abandon it outside the garage I using take the other car to, and they don't know much about zeds but will have a go if it's not too hard a job. :( Quote
jock Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 try searching on clutch adjustment, it may not solve it, but might give you some more use. Seems strange for it to go so wrong so quickly, you dont have a leak do you? Quote
Guest Rich Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 Yes! The resevoir is now empty and I just can't get eny gears. There is fluid leaking in the driver's footwell. Is it the master cylinder? Will do a search now on that. Cheers Quote
