Going to try to clean crank cencor today,but how is it located and what is the best way to get to it (top or bottom?).thanks chas

There's a good pic in the online manual (if you turn you head sideways). Front right of the engine.

 

The crank angle sensor is the round grey thing on the front of the engine, below the throttle body on the right of this pic:

 

 

When people say 'clean the crank angle sensor' they usually mean clean the electrical connection. In the pic you can see the little bit of black on the right of the CAS.... that's where the electrical connector goes.
