Iam quite new here and hope to be posting here from know on, i have just steped onto age 17, went and passed my licence aswell... i was shocked when my family told me to choose a nice car for myself and they would pay...

I want to go for a 300zx, but what i was wondering was the insurance cost... how much would the insurance be for a 17 year old, remember that this is my first car...

Iam from london by the way... any ideas would be great... :)

How could i ever give up on the zx! :slap: my insurance on the corsa is quite high... £1750 but i also joined this course that the insurance company adviced me... the cource is called ''safe drive skills''...

They will teach me how to handle a situation when the car skides or goes out of control and my insurance will fall for every point i earn... i joined in straight away...

The insurance company has also adviced me to fit an alarm system and a tracking system on my car which will also help reducing the price... but cooommmmeee on... a tracking system on a corsa??? hehe its not a aston martin you know... ;)

oh well!!! guess i got to get that fitted in at some point ;)

Good luck with your first car, mate. You can get that ZX in a few years.

£1750 to insure a Corsa and a tracker required?? where do you live

The Corsa is a pretty nice car, we have one too - a 1.4 sport. It's pretty quick, uses next to no petrol and comes with loads of extras (but costs Julia and I only £280 to insure ;) ). I bought it as a daily driver a couple of years ago to save using my (then) Supra. However I still couldn't give up the Soop, and now the ZX, so we sold Julia's Micra and she now uses the Corsa.....

....I've had 120 out of it downhill, not that you'd be driving like that, eh ;)

Richard :smw:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Live in london south east, But do not forget that iam only 17... :p
