Whos fitted them to a Jap spec TT.

 

Come to fit them and think I've foooooked up.

 

The end that goes into the Brake caliper fits perfect but the other end (female) is the wrong thred.

So being a smart ars... :cry: I bought the correct ends to go on the brake line coming out of the wheel arch and the tool to create the nipple.

 

But..and heres where it all foooks up the tool will not work because the pipe is not brass i.e. its steal..so now i'm stuffed.

 

Looks like i'm gonna have to replace the hole brake lines!

 

What have other done?

 

Should have just got back to Smithy and told him but thought they are probably right and the car is wrong...being a Jap.

All Sorted now. Phil at C and S to the rescue again!! Top Bloke whose Head is now considerably larger in proportion to the rest of is body.. LOL

 

Just made some small adaptors, Phil enjoys a few pints on me!!

 

Job done.
