I've been in contact with Zippo in regard to getting some Z lighters made up. Steve-o is currently working on a design similar to the pic (from a previous post) which we may be able to get produced by Zippo as a one-off batch.

 

My question is how many of you would be interested in one? Obviously the design isn't done yet, but once approved will be posted here. Should be about £15 each, but don't hold me to that as we've yet to get approval and final costings from Zippo.

Count me in aswell, we did this when I was in the Navy and did a stint after original Gulf war on mine clearance ops for 9 months.

 

Had zippo lighters made up with ships crest and "Op Granby 1991" engraved and a little map of the Gulf etc.

 

Done in brass, were very nice.

Steve-o will be able to give you the full story on what's happening (or not), but from our last conversation, he had sent the designs to Zippo and he's yet to get anything at all back from them despite following up with calls / emails.

Well if they don't get in touch with him soon go to the factory and burn it down...PMSL...shouldn't have any trouble finding a light!!! :D

Put me down for at least one, ive already got about 6 or 7 zippos that i dont use, so another will be fust the kick up the ass i need to go buy some fluid!!

how about just buying some zippos and finding an engraver?
