There are a couple of us getting together at the Broadway pub at Derby on Sunday.

 

Anyone else wanna join us?

Yep - have to agree with Van. Jeff's engine is so clean that you could eat your dinner off it, although I don't think that Jeff would appreciate you adding gravy to it.

 

But overall, as Van says - the day went well. We spent nearly 4 hours talking about ZX's and we had only scratched the surface.

 

I did take some pics but unfortunately, I don't have a scanner but undoubteble will be investing in one very soon as it's need has now been realized.

 

Anyway, I have a question to ask anybody.

 

Does anyone have the bit of plastic that goes over the top of the engine that says Nissan 300 or what ever it is, to sell?

 

P.s. Have got to tell you this bit - As we were standing outside admiring each others cars, a newish golf pulled on to the car park and let off a little woosh from his dump valve.

 

First of all, do they make golf petrol turbos?..and secondly, what exactly was he trying to prove?....PLEASE.

 

Repeat after me - VW Golf or 300 ZX Twin Turbo! Hhmmmmmm.

Charlie, it's a bloody shame about your car m8. I hope it's not serious. It's nice to see people are still doing martial arts........they are less likely to fight 'cause they feel they don't have anything to prove. Keep teaching Charlie. I'm sure you're doing a good job. One question though, since you are body building does it slow you down? One thing I've been quite wary of hence I don't go to the gym.....or is it 'cause I'm too idle??????

 

Anyhow, It would seem that there are quite a few of us in/close to Derby. Perhaps we should arrange another meeting later on this month (hopefully Charlie's car will be fixed and it's not a case of Mr. Timmy Turbo Z special SE)

Hey Van,realy pissed that i missed it,the car will have the modular removed yet again tomorow and sent back to nissan Derby for replacement,so next month would be good.

As far as body building and speed go's,i can hold a coin at sholder hight let go and punch three times and recach the coin before it gets half way to the floor,just like a bummble be should not fly ,i should not be able to move so fast,(ha ha).I wonder if you know of my weight trainning partner he is called Dennis Francis (IFBB pro and 1996 Mr universe,he is one of Derbys celebritys i have been with him for 9 years.I think its becourse i have trained in martial arts from the age of 11 years old that my speed has not been affected becourse all training has been done hand in hand.
