Anyone know anywhere local to me (Guildford and/or Chichester) that does it? as I've just bought myself a shotgun to learn the sport.

Getting one for a shotgun is easy as. only need a secure place to keep it.

As far as i know theres a clay shoot behind the star pub on the leatherhead road every sunday M25 junction 9 take sign posts to chessington world of adventure the star is on the left a mile or so from leatherhead golf course hope this helps.

A shot gun is easy to obtain,a firearms is a differant ballgame.

You would do well to get a shotgun license and join a club that you can shoot both shotguns and full bore rifles. Get a good gun cabnet as well.

 

Then after six months/year apply for a firearms cert. Then you can show have been member of a club and have experience of guns for a while. Think being part of a club is required anyway.

PMSL Yes it will help you get the firearms,You need alot more land to shoot on before they will give you a firearms I got 5000acres to shoot on and they came out to inspect the land.

MTL there are loads of clay shoots round guildford surrey way, just put clay pigeon in a search engine, or buy the mag, which has a list in the back
