to be honest i would not say the zx isnt a hard car to drive. i have done 3 course in single seater race cars and several skid pan day but that was so i could tech mysel how to drive a rwd car safley

I don't recall saying that I didn't think criminals drove cars? The point is how about coppers on the beat to stop the crime before it becomes "traffic" related? Is our best chance of them being caught when they get into a car and speed? That is a sad, sad situation.

Of course, speeding in itself is not a bad thing, its the circumstances around it that make it unacceptable, you live in a nice road 30 limit, I drive by at 30, no one complains, I drive by at 40 + and you get a bit upset, I nick your video after breaking into your house and drive off (yes....burglars drive too!) at 40...you get the raving hump, before I drive off I have a few shots from youe finest malt (and I smashed the shite out of your window to get in) (oh, and I stole your Z to get away in) (touch a nerve yet?) The Traffic police down the road doing a 'Trap' (hows that if they all wear flourescent coats?) dont bother stopping me...WHAT ARE THE POLICE DOING ABOUT IT?...

Yup kinda happened to me, little buggers nicked my laptop and some other stuff, also nicked next doors bike, routine stop on the bike and they were caught red handed with a bag full of my sh1t and a nicked bike! Well done that rozzer! :hyper:

James, policing in this country relys on public support, we dont get that then we dont get anywhere, How can you really think its all down to the police to sort it out for you, we all have to make a stand against the scum of society (who I meet rather a lot) sadly we get let down at the later stages. Ah, not too clear, the ACPO policy changed in February this year, the new pursuit policy superceeded the previous in that only those trained in the new techniques could practice it, as an interim measure only advanced drivers could persue until a tactical option could be considered....nuff said....?

Bit of a diversion, but if you're a traffic cop I guess you get to play around with the LTI 20-20 doo-hickies I used to get caught by all the time.

 

Question is can you guess that a driver is using a blinder? Had mine tested by a chap with a 20-20 and it worked a treat, no speed reading, but does it stick out to the operator that its a blinder? (fook knows where he got it from, prob a cop and nicked it from work! :ROFL:)
