I have the dvd of Tarmac Terrorists in which there are two Zs that are around 500bhp i think,one claimed a top speed of over 200mph but boath cars managed 149mph give or take 3mph.One car is a se-nissan Z,has any one else got this dvd and what did you think? The fastest car was i think without checkine dvd was around 170mph and that was a cossy.As the Marines say "this is show me country".Please does any one know the truth becourse mine tops out at around 150 odd and is a standard TT and i dont mind proving it any time.I am only asking becourse on the DVD the cars were supposed to represent the fastest UK road cars,please what point am i missing guys. thanks Chas

Lots of cars will pull a high number given enough run up.

Charlie I also have this dvd.Both zx cars were SE tuned,The Length of runway was less than a mile long.Hence 149mph!!!

Good point Andy,i have just taken a look at dvd it does not say distance of air feild,but one Z is 400bhp the other 500 and both hit more or less same speeds,even the Skyline which tried a rolling start could not better its 167mph.Is right what you are saying though about speed being added on as some cars roll,my other car more or less exelorates up to tot speed,but as they say theres no substitute for cubes (5 lit with twin turbos)

Oh and by the way some of you guys have a Z line up photo in this months Max Power mag,taken at Trax.

 

 

it also has to do with how flat and the type of ground they're running on, at the salt lake flats, Jun racing produced a Z to go to over 400kph or about 250mph

That video was a complete embarresment to S.E I mean really, niehter of those cars have near 500bhp...
