Im brand new to this zx thing and I love it but I have a few questions. I have just bought a 1992 import z with blitz exhaust and blitz bov's. It currently will not run more than 5psi and I have been told that it should be about 9psi. Cant really hear the turbos and the bov's are almost inaudible but the car does feel quite strong. Also, sometimes when it has just been driven hard I come to a stop (at a roundabout for instance) and it stalls. Any ideas on these would be much appreciated. Sorry if these are really silly questions but im new to the world of real cars!!!

its in safety boost

do a search on it mate

try reseting the ecu easy to do aswell

do a search on that also

try cleaning the knock sensor conector

Cheers mate. How do you reset the ecu and if that doesnt work then whats next?

disconect the battery for two hours

take the floor mat up in the passenger side

remove the wood pannel 10mm

turn little screw on ecu all the way around then turn it back after 2secs

Hey thanks for the information guys. I checked the ecu and it was giving me a code 34 so I unplugged the detonation sensor and plugged it in again and it gave me a code 55. When I boost now it goes to bout 10psi. The thing is now the engine is getting very hot and an orange light on the dash with check on it is flashing at me. Please help!! Also, I have a electronic blitz boost gauge and there is a light that comes on at boost. What is this? Thanks for your help

i dont have a clue how to fix your boost mate but you could just find a tall fit bird to soothe all your worries away. wonder where youd find one though......

Is is a Jap import? If so then I suggest that the light on the dash is the cat overheating light.
