at relatively high speed 120km/h, lol, (especially when accelerate)

the car start vibrating.

I think its the propeller shaft, but im not sure... can it be something else?

cause i dont want to buy a whole new propeller shaft assembly, to figure out it was something else...

i hope u understand what i just wrote,

gey your wheels balanced first, its the cheaper option and from my experience that is the speed area where it is most obvious

if its coming from the prop, then its more likely to be the centre bearing, which you can buy seperatly. the rear gearbox mount can give similar symptoms.

as Scoops says, get your wheels rebalanced 1st :)

I suffered from just about every cause of propshaft vibration and it usually starts the moment you start the propshaft turning - i.e. in first gear and as you start rolling. Also (like unbalanced wheels) it will vary as road speed, not engine speed. And it'll do it whether or not the clutch is in.

And it's very obvious that it is coming from the transmission tunnel.

So my guess is that if yours doesn't start until 120kmh, it's probably not propshaft.

Il check wheel balance first...

tho its mostly when i apply torque...

so Ill check rear gearbox mount, then center bearing prop.

Thx guys.

When the centre bearing support bellows rubber cracks up it doesnt locate the shaft properly and when torque is applied it goes out of shape and can even knock the sides of the bearing housing. So it can vary with torque.

better sort it sooner than later too, or you'll start damaging other parts like the UJ's, diff etc if that's the cause

I had this problem too - cured it by havingh all four wheels rebalanced. Turned out to be one of my rears. Well worth 50 quid (or the equivalent dollars) to check this first!

Wheels balance done! (freebie)

rear gearbox mount looks brand new! (freebie)

it must be the prop shaft... (200$us)

if its the diffs... (omg)

if its the tranny...(i don't want to know)

if its still unsolved (ill get a twin turbo swap ;) )
