Just noticed I have a leak just above the drivers side subframe mounting - water is pissing out a couple of drops per second at idle.

What can I do? Looks like maybe a connection at the bottom of the rad?

Can't get my hand i there - can I take the rad out?

Supposed to be running at the Pod on Friday & Saturday I can't believe my luck :(

It does sound like the lower rad pipe - you should be able to reach the jubilee clip from underneath, unless it has swiveled round the wrong way as usual with these cars  Or is you undertray just in the way?

I replaced the radiator on mine in about 2 hours one evening, its pretty simple. Just need to remove the fan shround, fan ( not vital but makes it easier), top and bottom rad hoses and a few 10mm bolts here and there. You'll be able to reach the lower rad pipe from above with the fan and shroud out.

It might just be the jubilee needs tightening, hope so

Pete

check carefully that it's not the plastic hose connector on the rad itself-they got a tendency to crack, good luck!

Cheers chaps, I have had a further look and it seems to be the join on the metal flange as shown in this pic.

New rad I think
