never new where this little reservoir was till now and on inspection there is no fluid

1/should i just top the reservoir up then see if any leaks are apparent!or

do i top up and bleed systym 1st

2/if leaks are apparent does it seem common for master cylinder to leak or slave cylinder! or and clutch pipes!

3/i did read a post about bleeding and looks a PITA.Doesent seem to be air in the systym gears engage properly and seems to bite at the right point so if this is the case then i wouldent have thought i would need to bleed until the systym isent compressing fluid same as brakes i would think.

please help in taking the right route thanks in advance greg :)

If it still works OK, then top it up pronto and take it from there. Definitey worth a check underneath for leaks though ...

thanks for the quick reply andy il check underneath also!

if there is a leak after topping up would it leak without any clutch pressure ie..whilst not being driven so i can put some paper underneath slave cylinder/gearbox to see if anything leaks.Or just drive, and if level drops check possible causes! sorry to go on but these little things do my head in

depend how bad the leak is bud!-u can try the paper route, but u would be better off having someone pump the pedal whilst u check the circuit, hth ;)
