ok so u just pull the covers round the seat tilters, but that F****G HEADREST!!! HELP!

if i keep posting enuff ill do it eventually! sorted!

There's a clip that holds the headrest in, it only cost £20 to get it out ;)

i finally found it but spent about 1hr bending what i thought it was on the other side, the "instructions" that comes with that zcentre leather kit is really bad!

im sure matty will give you some advice on fitting as hes done a pukka job on his seats my god im wanting to do this z-centre upgrade

500 posts  its a milestone or i post to much

I didn't get any instructions

But then I got something better... personal phone line support form Luke and Matty

im getting the hang of it now, just got to do the driver seat and then ill get some guy in bracknell to do the rest of the glueing stuff...its looking good though! will put some pics up at some point

I fitted my kit from the zcentre last week. Looks TOTALLY FOOKIN AMAZING! I am sooooooo pleased with it! :) :)

I managed to do it without any help too!

Drivers seat is a bit more difficult to do than the passenger one, as all the electric motors get in the way. I also found that the back-support 'springs' got in the way a lot more on the drivers side for some reason

Cutting through all those little bloody copper rings was a PITA, and getting the cable tie replacements into some of the more inaccessable areas of the seat foam was a 'challenge'. Oh, I also found that the foam on the drivers side bolster was in quite a perished condition, and doesn't 'fill-out' the leather panel as well, but you can hardly notice the difference.

You will have bloody sore and aching hands after you've fitted it (well, if you're a work-shy office bod like me you will!) but well worth it. :)

right well ive done all the seats, taking it to SR Mudge in ?Bracknell apparently hes done the panelling before, so i think ill leave that to him..I love the seats now, i did find it a real job getting some of that leather tight round some of the contours though, ure right esp the drivers seat, and the headrests wernt easy either. and yes my hands are quite knackered now too!

Hi Robert - when are you doing this? I'd be very interested in your opinion. I've got a couple of panels which need a touch of TLC and also the seats need a fettle. I'm too cr4p / bone idle to do it myself so if you get a good result from this bloke, I shall toddle off down there. TIA - Gio

16th of august im planning, he sed 3 days...seen some posts on archives on here about it, my main reason for going to him is that hes done a few before so prob knows where to go to take them apart, i tried the back panels and they wernt coming off easy so didnt want to break anything....Ill let you know..

Yep i've just completed this as well, but i took my Tweed off and put Matty's old UK spec leather on. Just had the usuall drivers side bolster damage, but had a new panel stitched in by an upholsterer. now it's on you can hardly tell the difference.................. just looking forward to the group buy on the leather restoration kit, and it'll look brand new :D

Before I put the leather over the drivers back rest on, I cleaned up all the side bolster foam and then stuck some Duck tape on to strengthen it all up, and now the leather is on you cant tell from the outside.

Once the kits here and its all clean, I'll post some pics.
