Over-Drive

Does the Manual TT have an over-drive option?

The reason I ask is because i do a lot of motorway miles in my ZX and over-drive helps the car cruise a lot better because it drops the revs?

How about the manual version, on my auto I can cruise at about 70mph on just over 2000 revs.

Hey, that's not entirely true, I've driven a 911 on a track and it's a LOT of fun !

Bloody glad it wasn't a 944 though .... wink.gif

Andy,

don't get me wrong, I've driven a Carrera 2, Carrera 4, a 968 Cabrio (was gonna buy one), a 911 turbo (one of the older ones) and a Boxster. I drove all but the Boxster and 968 on track and they were fun but not particularly quick. Must say the boxster was nicely built. I bloody hate those floor mounted clutch pedals though. Other cars manage floor mounted pedals without you having to get really uncomfortable using them. Anyway, anytime that porker wants to join me in a track day, I will take great pleasure in lapping him several times.

p.s. I'm trying to hit 300 posts by the end of the day biggrin.gif

Sorry Az, I know you like the old Renault motors. Just my family haven't had good experiences with Renault! Just one of them things! wink.gif

I don't understand why someone comes on here, slags off our cars and then wonders why they get it back? biggrin.gif Strange if you ask me!

I usually go for upsetting the members themselves first as I like most cars anyway. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

'Timmy-Turbo'....should that not read "Tiny-Turbo-I wish I had bought a Porsche 928 instead of this heap of scrap Datsun"

No wonder you owners of import 300ZXs are glad your car doesn't have a Nissan badge on the outside biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
