Does the Manual TT have an over-drive option?

 

The reason I ask is because i do a lot of motorway miles in my ZX and over-drive helps the car cruise a lot better because it drops the revs?

 

How about the manual version, on my auto I can cruise at about 70mph on just over 2000 revs.

OK Mr Duff, you are right, the F1 autos are a little more sophisticated than my auto box but when you have a budget of 100 million quid a year, you should get a little more for your money (even if you go to SE )

Hmmm, I seem to recollect that the Renault would be a tad lighter than the others - always wanted one of those actually.

 

Some Porkers are nice too, (924 doesn't count it's more Audi & VW than Porsche and the 944 isn't much different) 944 Turbo is OK, but getting a bit old these days. Love the 911, real blast to drive, but the stigma that goes with ownership of a Porsche is what turned me against them ....

AndyP, you NEVER want an Alpine/A610 they're a pile of shite with weak alternators, shite Renault engines, crappy trip computers with integrated fuel gauge that pack up as soon as they leave the factory it would seem. Electrically operated door release which has locked my Brothers wife in the passenger side several times, parts are unbelievably expensive and when Jeremy Clarkson raved about them Renault sold 7 in the first year!!! Nuff said!!!

 

My Bro owns one and so far his has been part of an on-going legal dispute for two years now. 9K for a pile of French wank!!!

then have good look how many cars have a top speed of 155... it is the self imposed restricted limit by manufacturers that sell in the UK. not the actual limit, as myself and others can definitely testify !
