Hi all

My zed went into safety boost again this afternoon.

All was fine until about half way home when I tried to overtake 3 cars

The last time this happened it was a hot day too and the car wouldn't boost over 7 psi after driving for half an hour.......

Why does this happen?

It is fine early morning when it's still cool

Am I getting det (couldn't hear it?) or is it the sensor wiring?

Any thoughts.......

Richard :(

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

sounds like det. if it is, switch off then back on again & you should be out of safety boost.

what fuel you using?

dont forget you wont get any codes if its just detected det ;)

Nope - code 34 is if the sensor is outside its range - ie either open or short circuit. If the ECU detects det it will not give any fault codes.

Think about it another way, you don't get a code 13 if the car overheats ;) Code 13 is coolant temp sensor btw lol
