October 12, 200124 yr I am thinking of selling my TT Z and buying a Non-Turbo Z. I am 21 and I have decided that I have had enough of paying ridiculas insurance on an import TT. Is there a big difference in insurance between the TT and Non Turbo version? What about reliability? Which out of the two has less problems?
October 12, 200124 yr Don't do it mate! You will not be happy with the drop in performance, I can guarantee that much!!! N/A will more than likely be cheaper to run and fix obviously but I'm surprised. Most people wanna get outta the N/A and into a Turbo monster asap! Oh well, if practicallity must give way to reckless, hooliganistic tendancies...so beit!
October 12, 200124 yr Dont do it part 2. N/A was never sold in the UK therefore they wil sting you for import on the insurance again. ------------------ Glen :)
October 12, 200124 yr After reading the posts above I think that I will still sell the car and look for UK spec Z. That should drop the insurance by a good £700. Cheers Pali
October 12, 200124 yr Well done Pali!! You know it makes sense Hey Tim, another soul saved from the Pit of No-Boost... Hehe ------------------ Glen :)
October 12, 200124 yr my friend got a 2+2 version with about 250hp after a few mods, but he still hates it, at first he was like forget speed, I love the car, now he's going to be coughing up $15,000 to make his Z a twin turbo, cause first he has to order a twin turbo engine, and he's ordering it from v.border in japan, and then he's buying JWT 650's although I told him he should go with the Greddy's. or hks.....
October 12, 200124 yr Pheeewwww, that was a close call Glenski, but we managed to pull it off geeZer!!! Maybe we should become shrinkZ or Z preacherZ geeZer??? kszx, Tell yer mate to stop messing around with the old "How do I make my N/A into a Turbo?" madness and put him out of his misery...GO AND BUY ONE!
