I am thinking of selling my TT Z and buying a Non-Turbo Z.

 

I am 21 and I have decided that I have had enough of paying ridiculas insurance on an import TT.

 

Is there a big difference in insurance between the TT and Non Turbo version?

 

What about reliability? Which out of the two has less problems?

N/A will more than likely be cheaper to run and fix obviously but I'm surprised. Most people wanna get outta the N/A and into a Turbo monster asap!

 

Oh well, if practicallity must give way to reckless, hooliganistic tendancies...so beit!

N/A was never sold in the UK therefore they wil sting you for import on the insurance again.

After reading the posts above I think that I will still sell the car and look for UK spec Z. That should drop the insurance by a good £700.

my friend got a 2+2 version with about 250hp after a few mods, but he still hates it, at first he was like forget speed, I love the car, now he's going to be coughing up $15,000 to make his Z a twin turbo, cause first he has to order a twin turbo engine, and he's ordering it from v.border in japan, and then he's buying JWT 650's although I told him he should go with the Greddy's. or hks.....
