i have been thinking over this for quite a while, i love my totally original z the reason i bought is loved the shape loved the style etc. however every time i come on to the forum i feel i am depriving my car of all thes lovely extras

so i have to decide do i keep a really well maintained totally original z or do i start modifying also do those of us that choose the former get the same respect as the modders, in an ideal world i would like one of each, ah maybe soon

It boils down to whether u r happy or not with it?

If you like the drive, the look and feel you have enough power then stick with it, no point in messing around. Just keep it well serviced and maintained and its guaranteed to last longer that one that has been modded.

However, if you want to get a little more from your beast and unlock the key to being one of the most feared monsters on the road then have a play ;)

A few months ago, I ran stock boost for a trip home and it felt sloooow, compared to 12.5psi. So once you start thats it, theres no going back :)

One piece of advice - once you start, you can't stop. Stock will last longer than modified too as long as its well maintained... Difficult decision though. Leave it long enough and a stock car will be the rarest and more unique LOL

I've modified my car as components have needed to be replaced, exhaust and induction are always worth while upgrades and shouldn't cause you any problems,

it all depends on what you want out of you car really, suspension and brakes could arguably prolong the life of your car in a sticky situation, boost upgrades ect will cause more wear on the engine/turbos/transmission but if you do them within the limits of the car and do them properly and follow duffers guide to ensure everything is okay first then you "should" be okay.

I used to run 12.5 feels slow compared to 16 ;)

:D :D

That's the plan! But will it work?

I would guess that the more extreme the mods you do, the harder it will be to sell. (It appeals to a smaller group of potential buyers).
