Sounds good :D get some piccies up

Hes had it for 10 years. Thats a long time for a Z owner ;)

Nice one, sounds good.

will get pics up once picked up and autoglym has went to work

why would it need engine rebuild at 58k?

thought these engines were supposed to be indestructable

I'd have hammered the old boy down the 3.5k but then I'm a b@stard!! :D sounds like a good buy! Planning any mods?

No engine is indestructable ;)

You will have to look at the history to find out why it had a rebuild, or you could ask the owner. Could be just unlucky like timing belt snapped, or a major oil leak when driving which the driver didnt notice.

I have known 2 people at work who have had their engine blow on their fords which where less than a year old and have less than 10,000 miles on.

That's a Ford, though Stuart.....(Fix Or Repair Daily) :D

No, seriously it could be either of the things SRRAE said. My first Supra Turbo had a full engine rebuild at 62000. The head gasket went (Common prob on Mk3 Turbo Soops) the oil fried and the rest is history......

Before I bought it fortunately ;)

If you look there are a few nice low mileage UK cars out there. Sounds like you got a bargain too. Good luck, hope it's a good one.

Richard :smw:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
