looking to buy my first ZX

 

was wondering how much u reckon it would cost me to run

 

i do 100 - 300 miles a week

Full tank should get you 300 miles (if your sensible.......:D )

 

About £40-£60 for a full tank (depending where you buy from and what you buy)......??

Tank of fuel has never got me 300 miles :D, always have some left over just in case though

 

around 250 miles out of 58litres i think worked out to 20mpg on last tank

I do 250 miles a week in my zed, costs me between 50-70 quid in optimax but by god its worth it ;)

I still havent learned how to do this "driving sensibly" thing.. can somebody explain how? :D

 

I'll be doing well with a tank then I spot a supra/scooby/whatever that needs to be raced and whallop there goes 1/4 of the tank in about 10 miles!!!

thats not to bad i have a scoob at moment at it does around same

 

might have to put block of wood under pedal of zx when i FIND ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

More true in the case of a ZX, it's less frantic and more effortless than a scoob. That V6 is so smooth you barely feel it.

 

Something in the way the Zed delivers its performance that you don't notice it so much until you either look at the speedo or into the rear view mirror ;)

Hmmm I must be doing something wrong? round town i consistently get 25 miles to a tenner lol.

 

On long journeys tho it seems really good, cruises very well.
