Well, after about 4 hours of toiling my front indicators are finally clear ... looks really good (pics up soon). Thanks Jeff TT for giving me the motivation to keep going with it.
Bloody hell it is hard work removing the orange cover inside the indicator unit. Almost no space to put your fingers and tools so out came the soldering iron, cutters and icepick (I kid you not). The new indicator bulbs I got with Jeff are great - they look clear but flash orange
Advice for anyone attempting to do the same, go easy on the bashing coz I nearly ruined one of the reflective covers (very thin metal that easily bends and rips).
Also burned holes for the side running lights that I'll one day put in (still need to wire it all up).
Another job to scratch off the list (one down - 99 more to go!
