Broadband/ BT question?

Because of all the free crossnet mins on mobile phones these days my BT home phone is never used for outgoing calls.

If i had my phone changed to incoming calls only I dont think you pay for line rental but would this stop my broadband?

In theory I thought it wouldnt because you are not actually dialing out with broadband but I dont know.

And I cant get Telewest or NTL in my street so thats a non starter.
