My speakers are rasping like hell so are obviously buggered after 10 years of listening to Rolf Harris's 'Two Little boys' at Full volume.

What stock speakers can I buy from somewhere shite like Halfords as a direct replacement?

I'm not a MAX Power reader so I'm not too bothered about shaking the windows, just want raspless Rolf!

If you have the original Bose speakers you will need to get the converter plates from nissan as the Bose speaker has a large plastic moulded case to it. which when removed leaves a large space in your door. With the replacement plates from nissan you can then fit damn near any 6" round speaker to the front of your Z. Also Im not sure of the output from the Bose head unit in regard to running standard speakers as the facory fit one uses amplified speakers.

Cheers

The UK Z takes 6.5inch speakers and you can get away with fitting some reasonabaly deep ones. I'm running Infinity 3 way Kappa's in the front as the stock UK ones are crap! My rears are where they belong, in the bin (okay the garage draw) with the rather strange amp.

I'm even thinking of upgrading my Infinity Kappa's shortly.
