Yes lol.......... 20p... I will do a group buy from RS... lol.... anyone else in?? :P :P ;) ;) :D :D

apparently this 'mod' is just an electrical resistor which costs about 20p. some guys were flogging these for £20+.

Thats all it is, all it does is fool the ecu into thinking that more air is entering the engine then actualy is, so the ecu adds fuel to the 'extra' air. i beleve it also affects the timing too. :mac1:

Will it make the car faster? – Yes! Your 0-60 time and acceleration will improve instantly.

Ohhh, i think i might get one of them!!!

I know someone who bought one for £20 for his Mini Cooper S.

It just alters the reading on the air flow meter

It didn't work and his car wouldn't go over a few thousand RPM!

Yup 20p resistor, just goes usualy on one of the wires to the afm, reducing the signal thinking its geting less air than it is, so puts more fuel in, result? too much fuel hardly ever works and you gotta be careful not to det.

Lots of people do it to ford engines, I even tried it once  I tried it once on a st200 I had as the americans rave about it on their car clubs, never worked, engine just sounded a bit diff.
