How often do chance like this come up?

cruising down the motorway at 60 letting my heart settle after a blast

and a Gallardo approtches in your Mirror

i slowed to 50 and got ready :)

he pulled up along side looked laughed and floored it

So did I :)

bearing in mind this was brand new 04 delivery miles from a local performance showroom so still a bit tight

the noise of the engine in this Lambo was fantastic

really floored mine just to see how close to him i could get

The man who started it all off was a rich farmer aparrently who used to di threshing machines and all that...was disillusioned with ferrari so made his own

feruccio lamborghini used to work for ferrari, but they shafted him so he started up his own company. built tractors to build up cash but his main aim was to build a car to do one over on enzo ferrari. new lambo's are nice cars but arnt what they were. there a bit soft now they are rebadged audi's

knew there was a tractor theme in it...

 

I reckon the 'Diblo' was the best...without a doubt...pure impracticality at a shed load of money, bugger all comfort, sh*t loads of money with proper performance

although the diablo VT roadster was one of the nicest cars around for a while, now they are pants IMHO rather have a porsche or a ferrari.

Be careful what you wish for?

i dunno, i gone against a mate of mine who has a Diablo Vt a number of o times, its pretty neck and neck till about 100, then he starts to pull away slowly, and i KNOW he gives it beans...the gallardos are slower than the VT Diblos too right?

No one was as suprised as me!

i just wanted to see how far ahead of me he could get.

there's nothing like looking over and seeing a lambo front end next to you.

there may be all sorts of reasons why it was neck and neck

but what the heck

I cruised through one of the main streets in Leeds for posing outside the bars last night on my way home from the cinema and got blocked in by taxi's right next to one of the new uprated Lambo Murkywotsits in pearl orange with a pylon wing on the back.

 

Everyone stopped looking at the Lambo and came over for a chat about the Z :D

Cant wait for mine to be run in cos theres a lambo murcy....whatever its called in yellow round the corner from me and he loves giving it some, does sound nice that v12 but hes only just got it back after going from 6th to 4th on the motorway slip road at 140ish and missed 4th and put it into 2nd :nono: and bent all the valves causing 60k worth of damage...but lamo fixed it under warranty :shock: but cant wait to see his face when he floors it and cant get away from a datson in his 150 grand supercar :D

Close but Ferruccio inherited the Lambo tractor business from his family. He was a kind of playboy before there were playboys. He wanted a certain model Ferrari (cant remember which), but Enzo said there was a waiting list which he would have to join. They had a big falling out so Feruc, being the bloke he was, thought *****s to you. Using the company money he set up his own sports car compnay to make a car, faster and more powerful than the Smiths red offering and thus the great Italian battle was born!!

 

And they do still make Lambo tractors as theres a guy near us with one and its awesome. In fact he even ran in the stock class at the tractor pull over the weekend. Lovely silver machine.
