Ecotek Technology

Has anyone tried these ?

Sounds a bit to good to be true.. but if it even hints at improving economy..........

A friend of mine had one fitted to a Renualt 19 16v. He seemed to think it worked but it was only an opinion not tested on anything.

I can`t believe it !!! I bought one of these units ago and had the guys from there fit it to my previous zed, they did have a little trouble with the inlet manifold bit and finaly had to resort to fitting a pair of Nova GTE units combined with an Xr2 ignition system, then they had to remap a RupertChip and piggy backed it on the output of the speed sensor. The results where fantastic,in fact Nissan Japan were gob smacked that the 16171718 trillion Yen they had spent on the engine design could be improved by a £60 unit rolleyes.gif I did`nt know they were still available, I am ordering one today....anyone know where I can get a pair of Nova inlet manifolds?

I put a post on the other day about ecotek!

- they don't work when turbo's kick in

- also you will need two, one is for a 2.6 ltr engine down

Sorry you're thinking of ECOFLOW - all to do with the magical power of magnets and you're right they probably are bollocks.

Ecotek is something COMPLETELY different - no magnets, no bullshit.

A brief visit to the web site will explain: http://www.ecotekplc.com/reviews.htm

Hrrmmmm Crommring ourt MAX POWER Mragazrine, i shall now run away to end of Tokyo and jrump orf criff biggrin.gif

Due to the number of positive reviews I shall keep an open mind, but I still think it is more appropriate to 'standard' cars rather than high performance, twin turbo, already overcomplicated and highly tuned engines.

However, anything which gives a win-win can't be bad, but it's like the the supernatural - some things you need to see for yourself in order to really believe.

My personal feeling is that most of the gains come from weakening the mixture rather than the air turbulance - there's quite a lot of that already and most production cars (at least most a few years old) will always err on the rich side for the safety of the engine.

Could this be to good to be true ?

I am sceptical, but with so much evidence of independant reviewers saying that it actually does work, I will order 2 soon.

Even if there is no performance increase, a reduction in fuel consumption is always a good step.....especially for our type of car !!!

Keep z...ing.
