is it possible to lose boost through PCV pipes? i.e. split pipe?

    i would have thought not actually (as long as the PCV valves are ok!), when the engine is under vacuum, the PCV valves are open to allow the engine to vent crankcase fumes to the inlet manifold - so you could have a vacuum leak there.

    under boost however, i would think the valves are firmly shut, to prevent all your seals in the engine from popping out!!!
