How many litres of paint would it take to re spray a Zed. Lets say with three coats...

Cheers

need more details, the type of paint you use will make a difference to how much you use, if you are doing it all in one go or a bit at a time as well, if you do it a bit at a time you should buy the paint in one go to ensure a good colour match.

She is Pearl white at the moment but would like just a standard white (like Paul G's). If I was to do this it would be a bit at a time to be honest.

Thanks

Get your coat(s), they are throwing you out  ;)

if you go for a standard white it can be bought ready mixed from the factory so you can buy a litre at a time and there should not be any problems with the match each time, if you have never sprayed a vehicle before I would use cellulose paint, 2k etc is much better but needs to be sprayed by a competent bodyshop.

Thanks for the info. I have looked for a 'How To' or guide to sparying veihcles but have had no luck. Do you know of anything like this?..

Cheers

If you go into your local Brown Brothers they can give you a spec sheet for the type of paint you want, it will tell you the mixing ratios, drying times, recommended thinners and primers and even down to the grade of wet and dry you need to use, it is not as hard as you may think to do, im sure if you do a search on google you should find a step by step guide, if you need any more specific info just ask, sprayed cars for 15 years before I got a decent job.
