Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)

After investigating a grinding noise coming from the rear under braking, I have found one of the pads to be completely worn out
This would have been the first part to check anyway but......
The reason I have put this post up is because from a quick glimpse everything looked ok - the outer pads had around 8mm on them.... On removing the inner pads as well the problem became very obvious:-
..and just to show the wear properly:-
As can be seen above, only one pad wore out severly. I think this was caused by the twonk who had my car before me fitting cheap crappy pads..... could have been a stone getting between the pad and disc and exploding the pad but seriously doubt it
Be warned - always good to keep an eye on things and the brakes are one of the (if not the most) important parts on a car
