B-Line!!!

Lads

Although I came from humble beginnings in my lowered, de-badged, chipped, arse wiped Belmont CDi, and then on to my Escort RS Turbo (Wash your mouth out - hated it anyway), then on to my Cavalier Calibre 20Ltr 16v 180BHP (Loved it but screwed me for £5K in 12 months) and then lastly on to my.....DON'T LAUGH.....Rover 416 SLi.....I SAID DON'T LAUGH, I always had a nice box in the boot that made lots of thumping noises.

Will somebody please tell me where the hell I'm meant to put that box now. Douglas Barder would have problems fitting in a ZX boot.

I know you are probably thinking - what do you want a B-Line for when you've got 300 rubbling horses stampeeding out the back.

Well, like you guys, I like a little bit of everything and thats why I have a Scorpion S/S, Johny "The Man" will be fitting me 2 lairy SQVs in 2 weekends and all that will be left will be left will be to find a sub that will fit in the boot. Any ideas people?

I'm using an AudioMac active sub at the moment with two 8 inch drivers in an approx. 1ft square box - not bad for the size but I really reckon a single 12" would be better, the other option that I think some people may have done is removed the spare wheel (replace with those tyre repair aerosols thingys)and make use of that space, I am in desperate need of lots of pictures of peoples installs in the 300 as space is at such a premium, expecially with having to have somewhere to put the lids....

Will let you know how I get on and try to get my hands on a digi camera

Or, ask how often people actually use those excuses for back seats----- how much do we really need them ?

There's basically very occasional use anyway, so why not modify so people would still have somewhere to perch if they wanted, slotted perspex covers that go over the speakers strong enough to support someone ? Or just lose the upholstery off the rear seat backs ?

Loads of ideas, but no bloody time

Adam

I built a custom box for my 12inch Fosgate sub and it sounds great!!!
