Hello all,

I've just got myself a 300zx TT as a bit of a toy and having spent about half what I originally planned on the car I've got a few grand burning a hole in my pocket and wanted to hand it over to a decent garage for a few bits of work that need doing. Any suggestions for a decent garage that know thier way around a 300 in the Basingstoke area?

Also needs a new paintjob, if you've had some nice work done by any local bodyshops I'd appreciate a recommendation..

Thanks in advance.

Dave

Try Owen Developments, Kingston Bagpuize...Oxfordshire.

Speak to Mark Harrison on...01865 821062.

He's the guy to speak to. They're good, but they're not

afraid to charge you for it!! (they do a lot of work for Miguel @ Newera).

To start with some pretty basic stuff, needs a new timing belt pronto, new disks all round (front are prob still the original set and pretty worn, would have only just scraped through MOT) and a REALLY thorough service (flush coolant, oil change to silkolene, gearbox oil change, check brake fluid etc)

then if nothing else becomes apparant that needs doing during the service a full stainless system and maybe a bit of a ecu upgrade.

As far as the bodywork goes either some touchup work or a complete respray, not sure which yet need to get quotes for both, plus remove the horrible standard spoiler and replace with something tasteful from the zcentre and swap out the lights on the back for the nice 4 cluster thing they have on the zcentre website.

And finally if budget allows a full leather kit for indside!!! (im thining shorts wont go to well with the lovely scratchy seats)

Have a word with Baggins, very helpfull, top bloke.
