The hicas light has just come on toady on start up then stay on for about 5 min then went off .What the fork is this all about :mad:

had same with mine, topped up fluid...all ok

There is aparrently a sensor on the steering wheel which lets it know if aligned, check thiss too. I have read that aftermarket steering wheels can cause a problem....

thanks for that just put some in and the light is out will see tomorrow if it stop out .Last thing I need is shat b4 Billing

 

 

have you tried to top up your steering fluid?

It's just the fluid that's getting low.

It expands as it warms up so the light goes off.

Buy a small bottle of Dexron II type automatic transmission fluid ;)

Mine came on after a run back up the M6 from Birmingham, steering went heavy, stopped for a sandwich and light never came back on and steering back to normal. Checked fluid seemed fine, keeping my fingers crossed it stays off.

Res cap off, engine running, turn lock to lock a few times.
