A preistoric event? smile.gif

Well i actually think we should make it for one of the last weekends in November to give all a chance. And a chance for those comming from north.

It is in North London

Arse, Can't make that date.

Late Nov - Late Nov!!! go on!

I was not kidding there! smile.gif

What is a Dyno Day?... I have not a clue!

Well basically, we fly out to a small island in the pacific, where they have recreated the dinosaurs... It's called Jurassic Park...

Kidding smile.gif

The cars are roped down onto a set of rollers under the back wheels, and the "Dyno" (Dynamometer) operator takes the car up to speed and back again. The rollers are basically a calibrated load, and the controlling computer can work out how much power your car has at the rear wheels (and can make a guesstimate at the flywheel power)..

So now you know smile.gif

Dyno Day:

Session on a rolling road, simulates 'real' driving conditions using rollers, rather like you get at MOT stations, for checking your brakes, except that they exert a force on the tyres, so you can simulate road conditions and the car can be 'run up' through the gears while stationary, it is used to gauge power output and to tune the engine as it is hooked up to a diagnostics system, unsually sun or Krypton.

Good way of assertaining just how good yer mods are without plod chasing you down the M1 biggrin.gif

Hope this makes sense.

Damb!!!!
