Wiring HKS AFR and 2 MAF's?

Does anyone know of a write up on how to install a HKS Super AFR and 2 MAF's?

Just need to know how to join the MAF's into the AFR really.

It might be in the manual but I haven't got it yet...

Not possible with HKS Super AFR m8 ;) Also with a Doolz there is no need to use twin mafs ;)

Surely it's possible to link the 2 outputs into one to get a value for the combined reading?

Wonder if it's the Apexi S-AFC I'm thinking can link the 2 MAFS?

The problem I'm having might not be down to the Doolz but I can't try a single intake until I change the chip back to a standard 555 one :(

I was planning on buying Mr Macs now redundant AFR but it might not be any use

Probably still good for tuning it but depends on what's causing it to run rough.

Yeah the Apexi will run 2 MAFs ;)

yup, no problems here, but as Andy said, you don't need 2 MAF's with the Doolz, and you don't need the drivability hose.

Maybe the problem isn't the Doolz then.

I'll get the old filter put back on and try it to make sure.

Hang on, did you use the chip that came with the Doolz? Are they supposed to come with a chip???

Andy yes the Doolz comes with a chip, but tight arse did not buy one he thought he would get one made here :o

It didn't come with a chip.

It says to contact them for prices dependent on your current ECU...

I've got one from JD for twin pop and 555's.

There's your answer then dumb ass :D

A new ECU program is required to run this system which we can provide to you with the kit. Please call for information on this as there are a few varations on pricing dependent on the status of your current ECU. We have dyno tuned and proven these programs for this setup to ensure complete functionality of this confiiguration.

This setup is NOT the same as a JWT......

I know it's not the same but you are still just metering half the air with a single MAF.

The only difference is the pipes join after the meters.

I don't see why you need their chip for that.

Erm, because the airflow will be different??? :D

I can't believe the chip is mapped differently for "how" the air goes down the tube as well as the quantity!

Once it's past the meter it's gone as far as the MAF is concerned.

The JWT filter is mounted on the MAF in the same way as my Apexi is on it's MAF!

By the time the air gets to the engine is it upside down and the wrong way round?!

No, the two banks are shared on the doolz, on the JWT they are completely seperate. Stop argueing ffs :D

Why would it matter that they are linked after it's been measured? Air is air :mac1:

What the **** do you know and who asked you anyway?! ;)
