NZR GT3

I see that the 300zx is eligable in the 80s sports car race. How do you get yer hands on one to have a go?

Sorry if this is stupid, only bought the PS2 last Sunday!

Am I being very stupid or is the version of GT3 that comes with the PS2 a cut down, I don't seem to have the option of buying second hand cars etc.

Just go in to the new car section. There are no second hand cars in GT3. Unfortunatly the 300ZX is shit in this version. The new Z car you have to win.

Good luck

Tim

what do you mean the 300zxtt is shit in this version, maby you cant drive wink.gif

Yeah, why are you finding it shit? I pretty much completed GT2 with a Z and I got to about 40% through GT3 with it (then I got my fantastic Tommy Kaira ZZ II).

Andy (73% into GT3 and only 2 races away from getting an F1 car)

BTW, my top GT3 Z upgrade tips:

get all the handling mods you can (sports brakes and decent suspension are very important) but don't go over about 510bhp in the power mods as you will just turn it into a drag car and it'll be crap on the corners. You should be able to complete all of beginner and most of Amateur with a nicely modded Z.

Andy

Having completed nearly 75% now I would say I'm shit at the game its just the ZX in GT3 doesn't seem any where near as good as it was in GT2. Also have the ZZII. After the link about S2000 I think I'm going to get one of those wink.gif they can beat everything.

Tim

There was a Z in GT2? Missed that!

Durrrrr biggrin.gif

Stage: Rather Ill

The ZZII kicks butt. ~ 900 hp, AWD, light weight, awesome handling (once tuned).

My S2000LM also has ~ 900 hp, lightweight, excellent handling.

Between those two cars, I don't have much need for my other 70 cars tongue.gif

Well my Z has 1000bhp and handles nicely - andrew you're a disgrace to your name biggrin.gif

Best car I found for completing most of the game was the calsonic skyline - also tuned to 1000 bhp. And yes I already have the F1 car biggrin.gif

CheerZ earZ,

Andy

How long has this weekend taken to come round???? AT LAST!! biggrin.gif

As I said I'm a novice at this, I can't buy the 300zx 'cause it's not in the car showroom so how do I go about getting one?

Many thanks Guyz

Tim, the 300's should always be there in the Nissan showroom - I'm guessing you can't see it because you need to scroll through the car list. There are more cars off the right of the screen. HTH

Raz

I need to play GT3 more.

My 6 year old son prefers an evo7 on the rally stages and complaines my Z is too slow frown.gif

No more pocket money for him then wink.gif

The 200 boys seem to have GT3 nipped in the bud have a chat with them for tips on getting the F1 car, it seems to involves patience and laccy bands on the controller.

LOL - Andy, a 1000bhp Z is just a teensy weensy bit of a handfull don't you think smile.gif

The ZZ II is incredible, can take on the GT cars when it comes to handling (and everything). Not too keen on the handling of the S2000s though, but I may try boosting mine to 1000bhp and seeing what happens.

I'm currently trying to make the game as hard as possible by winning the best cars as late as possible (ie in order they appear). Just finishing the Lotus Elise races on Pro and I'm almost in F1 heaven.....

The problem is that I keep getting distracted from GT3 by things like Onimusha, Max Payne and Independence War 2 wink.gif

Don't know how I could have been such a tool!

I've got my nice red 300TT 2+2 now.

I never played gt2 , whats a z11 and having been to andys place , with the steering wheel seat contraption and all, wicked setup, ultra cool, the steering wheel isdefo good for about 2-3 seconds i recon.#

Who has a 500bhp 300zxtt... oh sorry i do biggrin.gif

Warren,

the ZZ II is the Tommy Kaira I had that you tried. Remember the yellow car with the cool red alloys that looked a bit like a Ferrari 360 and could beat the crap out of the GT cars?

I LOVE those tails!! The styling reminds me of the 360 Modena.

The ZZII is almost faster than my F094 at Laguna Seca!! The ZZII does about 1:10-1:11, the F094 does 1:09-1:10

wonder what an f1 will do at laguna seca

actually maby we should start a laguna seca competition for gt3, ultimate lap time , and one for a set car.

get some times going
