Shall I install my AVCR now or shall I install it after the engine is run in. Doing it later will make the det sensor work which important when running in, I think.

Plus it could remove temptation of turning the boost up.

or shall I stop being soft and install it?

Fit it now!!!

Fit it now? There is nothing for it to control yet ;)

Stu,

Jeff fitted mine for me recently and I love it, great fun plaing around with the boost although I have detonation problems at the levels some guys are running with the same mods on here.

Time to fill with Optimax I think, if this doesnt work then larger injectors are on their way and intercoolers.......god help me....

Worst case Stu, you can set Setting A to low boost 8psi say and run your car at that for a while....then turn to setting B and run loads boost.....:D

I reckon if it's there you'll play with it - leave it out until you've run it in properly!

Also hard to set up properly without a few wide open runs - which you won't be able to do...

Just thought, you could get all the bits through firewall etc whilst you've got access, just don't plumb it in until later?
