I would say around the 25-28kg mark. I had to take mine out for the heater matrix a few weeks ago.

Definately an area to think about weight reduction. Although, I suppose it is a good thing that it is low down and doesn't cause unecessary roll. However, I wonder how much a replacement motor from a motor company would cost rather than going to nissan for it. A/C compressors are much smaller and lighter nowaday, cant see why this would not follow the same rule.
