Hi

does anyone know if it's possible to put electric seats from the LWB into a SWB. What additional wiring would be required - is it just a 12v feed to the seat or is there more to it than that???

Also if anyone has tweed seats in a lightish blue that they don't need then I know a man who could make use of them.................

Cheers

Hi Apache,

I don't think you would need any additional wiring etc to fit LWB seats into SWB but Blue tweed has got to be rare as I haven't seen any Z with one.

The light blue tweed seats are fitted to Zed's with dark blue metallic paintwork and like you say are pretty rare. Will keep looking though and thanks for the info.

Any more opinions on fitment of electric seats would be welcome................

Not totally sure on this but I would have thought the wiring loom was the same so the seats would just plug in.

I'm selling my leather seats soon if you are after a set?

Where in North Yorkshire are you? I'm in Harrogate.

thanks for the offer of the leather seats but it's not an option I'm after.

I'm located just up the road in Ripon - have to meet up for a shandy or two??

As far as the electrics are concerned, the drivers is already electric and the plugs are all the same AFAIK, you wanted to put an electric passengers seat in all you need is a permanent live, the earth is already there, Richard.

I'll try to sort out some pics, they are in pretty good condition but I'm wanting some fancy ones instead ;)

Apache, My Z is off the road at the moment but I'll be in touch.
